Katrina at our Altar

It was absolutely fantastic to see Katrina at our altar celebrating the Eucharist as a priest on the morning of 25th February.

Katrina was a member of our congregation for a long time, and parish administrator, treasurer and various other roles, before leaving us 5 years ago to train for ordained ministry.

She is now leaving her curate's position in Kingsthorpe and moving to Mears Ashby, with four churches and three parishes.  She is very excited about this new challenge.

This morning we welcomed her to us; she had a conversation with Anne about her journey to ordination, and she celebrated the Eucharist for us.  You can hear her conversation on this page.

At then end of our service Anne, with our lay ministers David and Lesley, prayed for and with Katrina for her new challenge.  You can hear this here
